Curating Contemporary Design MA

Completed whilst interning at Proud Creative, art direction by Proud Creative. The Curating Contemporary Design MA course is taught and run jointly by The Design Museum and Kingston University. The brief asked for an identity that works as a standalone piece of design, but which could also be used to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the course.

A word mark and cross-hatch motif was devised which works to tie the two versions of the logo together. This is then extended into a memorable icon ‘C’ which can be used as a badge and social media icon. The cross-hatching is also part of the graphic language and is used to treat imagery.
